With this opening, the brand is looking to strengthen its reach in the Middle Eastern market after witnessing exponential growth and momentum in the region in the past year.
Situated amongst luxury designers, the 40 square-metre space continues Axel Arigato’s architectural and contemporary gallery-like aesthetics. A monochromatic colour scheme with vivid blue accents to echo Dubai's aquatic surroundings simultaneously reflects the brand’s visual identity. Adopting modern materials and industrial textures from existing Axel Arigato stores, layering them to create an interesting visual contrast. Curved walls wrap around the space creating a sense of movement and a structure for display; leading the eye into the store and cleverly utilising the space for merchandise. Lastly, stone display units made from yellow travertine have been installed to juxtapose the futuristic design direction elsewhere.
In support of the launch, Axel Arigato will be hosting a series of events taking place within the space this Spring, with a view to continuing to curate brand activations in the area throughout the year.
The Axel Arigato Dubai store opens its doors in April and the new space boasts a complete offering of both men’s and women’s footwear, accessories and a limited-edition capsule collection exclusive to and inspired by Dubai, to mark the opening. The brand currently operates seven physical stores globally in London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Munich and Hamburg.
