Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Ludovica Pagani

L’Officiel Arabia: When and how did you decide to be a presenter/radio speaker/ Influencer?

Ludovica Pagani: When I was 18/19 years old, few brands I had the chance to know while working on social media, proposed me to work as a presenter in local television. That was my first experience, I felt like it was a natural thing for me to do which I really liked and that’s why I decided to proceed on this path. After that experience I started working as a presenter on Sport Italia (a more known television channel) where I presented few motoring programs.

 

LOA: How did you get into sports journalism?

LP: I entered the social media world only as a fashion influencer. Through this activity I met a video production agency which was working with some sport personalities and that’s how I decided to start working in the sports industry.

LOA: As they say, Sports journalism is a man’s world, how did you break through?

LP: The sport’s journalism segment is a world dominated by men and today the conception of giving priority to the man is still strong. However, if you’re capable it is possible to distinguish yourself and succeed. In order to gain more skills and be more capable, I decided to apply for a sport’s journalism course!

 

LOA: Who has inspired you the most in your life?

LP: The people who inspired me the most are my family: my mother, father, grandmothers.

They made me the person I am today, and I owe everything to them.

LOA: Have you been to the UAE? If yes, how was your experience?

LP: Yes, I’ve been to UAE in particular to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These have been the best trips of my life. I fell in love with Dubai, and if it were for me, I would go there every moment I can.. but unluckily I can’t!

 

LOA: What is fashion for you?

LP: I’m now 26 years old, during these years I have changed my idea about fashion many times. Now, I think that the most important thing in fashion is BEING CLASSY, no matter what you wear.. the most important thing is to know how to wear it! I think style is everything.

LOA: Who do you take inspiration from for your fashion and beauty looks?

LP: Most of the times I take inspiration from my stylists. There isn’t a specific person who inspires me, I follow on Instagram some famous accounts that post outfits and looks and I share with my stylists the ones I like in order to inspire us with new ones.

LOA: What next for Ludovica?

LP: I’m really honored to be on the cover of this amazing magazine, since I really love UAE and I really hope to come back soon! What’s next…I’m currently working on the realization of a sportswear capsule collection and I’m really happy and proud about it. I shall also be the presenter of Fifa ESport A Serie and I’m currently part of an Italian football television program with some important journalists and ex-players. About another project: soon a film will be out with me playing a part in it!
