Setting a New Global Standard in Aesthetic Medicine

L'Officiel Arabia: Today, your name is recognized far beyond the borders of a single country. Looking back on your journey, what moment would you describe as the true turning point in your career?

Dr. Marina Aisina: For me, the turning point came when I realised I was no longer simply building a clinic or developing my own technique. I was creating a system, a philosophy, and an international brand capable of transforming the perception of aesthetic medicine.

In the beginning, everything was driven by my love for the profession, a desire to constantly improve results and give patients more than they expected. But over time, aesthetic doctors  from different countries began adopting my techniques, my approach to beauty, and my standards of work. That was when I truly grasped the scale of what we were creating.

Opening the clinic in Dubai was a particularly significant milestone. It was an entry into an entirely new market, a different culture, and an international environment. I saw that quality, professionalism, and a strong idea know no borders. I think that was the moment I finally understood that Lips for Kiss @lips_for_kiss had become a global brand.

You have built an international brand while continuing to practice as an aesthetic doctor. How do you balance the mindset of an entrepreneur with a genuine passion for helping people?

I have never separated the doctor in me from the business owner. For me, a business in aesthetic medicine must begin not with numbers, but with the person.

Working with patients keeps me connected to the profession, I see the real needs of women, understand their concerns, and feel how the industry is evolving. And the  business mindset allows mindset allows me to transform my knowledge and values into a system that functions even when I am not personally in the treatment room.

My role as a founder is to create standards under which every patient, in any of our Lips for Kiss clinics, receives a high level of safety, service, and aesthetic results. I am deeply demanding of myself and my team, because behind every appointment, every procedure, and every decision lies a person's trust.

Over the years, Lips for Kiss premium and Dr. Marina Aisina have also received professional recognition and multiple industry awards and the title of Best Aesthetic Clinic 2026 . For me, these awards are not simply achievements, but recognition of the standards, expertise and philosophy we have built around the brand.

We live in an era where beauty standards are largely shaped by social media. In your opinion, how can a woman preserve her individuality without constantly feeling the need to conform to unrealistic ideals?

Social media strongly influences our perception of beauty, but at Lips for Kiss, we do not simply follow trends. We create them. Our signature techniques, including Russian Lips and Hollywood Face, are based on anatomy, harmony, natural results, and individuality. When a patient shows me an inspiring photo, I analyse what exactly she likes: the lips, facial contour, cheekbones, skin quality, or the overall impression.

From there, we create a personalised treatment plan that enhances her best features without changing her identity. Hollywood Face is not one procedure, but a complete approach designed to improve facial balance, structure, and skin quality while preserving natural beauty.

True aesthetic trends are not about identical faces. They are about revealing the best version of each individual.

You work with patients and medical professionals from around the world. Has your international experience changed your own understanding of beauty?

Absolutely. My international experience has shown me, time and again, how multifaceted female beauty truly is. Working with patients from different cultures has made me even more attentive to their wishes. For me, it is not simply about recommending a procedure it is about listening and understanding how she wants to look, and what result will allow her to feel most confident.

Every woman already possesses her own beauty. Our role is to reveal it with care to enhance her strengths and help her see in the mirror exactly the version of herself she loves.

Many women strive for external perfection while overlooking inner harmony. In your view, what is the relationship between self-confidence and beauty?

Aesthetic medicine truly can transform how a person feels about themselves. When someone loves what they see in the mirror, it changes not only their perception of their appearance, but also how they carry themselves, how they communicate, how they smile, and how they present themselves to the world. However, it is important that procedures do not become an attempt to resolve inner struggles solely through constant physical correction.

At Lips for Kiss, our goal is not to create an abstract ideal, perfect faces do not exist. We seek to understand what truly concerns a patient, to highlight their strengths, improve their proportions, and help them feel more harmonious and confident within themselves.

The Middle East has become one of the world's leading hubs for aesthetic medicine and the beauty industry. What opportunities do you see for this region, and do you plan to expand your projects here?

The Middle East is one of our priority regions for further brand development. We see strong demand here for high-quality aesthetic medicine, advanced anti-ageing technologies, and personalised service.

We plan to expand the Lips for Kiss www.lipsforkiss.com presence in the region opening new locations, developing the clinical direction, launching new projects, strengthening our international team, and introducing cutting-edge technologies. What remains fundamental to us is scaling while preserving the high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism on which our brand is built.

Today, you inspire thousands of women through your example. What personal principle has guided you through your most difficult decisions and helped you move forward despite challenges?

My guiding principle is simple: do not wait for the right moment - act now. Nearly every significant stage of my life has involved a degree of certain steps: opening the first clinic, building a large team, developing an international brand, launching the Dubai project. In business, there are no guarantees of success. But you can be prepared, work systematically, take responsibility, and refuse to abandon your goal at the first sign of difficulty.

I firmly believe that responsibility for my life and my decisions lies first and foremost with me. You can spend a long time searching for reasons why something is impossible, waiting for ideal circumstances or the perfect moment. Or you can ask yourself a different question: "What can I do today to bring myself closer to my goal?"

I also have moments of doubt, anxiety, and exhaustion. But I try not to let temporary emotions dictate my long-term decisions. Discipline, belief in my own vision, and love for what I am building always prove stronger than any obstacle.
