L’Officiel Arabia: What subject would you like the magazine to cover?

Juliana Xerez: I am Juliana Xerez, the owner of Decisive Zone, a company in Dubai that provides services for entrepreneurs who want to open their own business in Dubai and obtain residency in the Emirates for their family. I also work as a gemologist and luxury jewelry designer, drawing inspiration from my daily life. My jewelry enhances beauty and serves as a powerful spiritual tool by harmonizing emotions, unlocking stagnant energies, and elevating the energy of the wearer.

L’O A: How would you describe your work as a jewelry designer?

JX: My work as a jewelry designer is to capture special feelings and moments in the smallest details, creating unique, exclusive, and high-quality jewelry.

L’O A: Can you tell me about how you decided on your profession?

JX: I have always been fascinated by the power of crystals. I love reading about the benefits they bring to the environment and personal well-being. After working as a model in NYC, I decided to pursue my interests and find a new professional experience. One day, while reading about diamonds, I discovered that the GIA institute offered courses on the stones, including their characteristics and how to identify them. I was immediately drawn to this and never looked back.

L'O A:. Can you provide a brief description of yourself using a few words?

JX: Smart, persistent, extremely focused, loyal, and super spiritual.

L'O A: Can you tell me about the paths that led you to where you are now?

JX: I worked as a model from 2006 to 2016 and had the opportunity to live in various cities across the world, including New York, Paris, London, and Milan, among others. During my modeling career, I became interested in luxury fashion brands. After a while, I decided to switch to the jewelry industry and pursued my studies at renowned institutions such as GIA, IGI, Van Cleef’s L’Ecole, Dubai Design Academy, and the Persons to enhance my knowledge.

L'O A: Do you have any complementary activities or hobbies that may impact your professional life?

JX: I enjoy exercising, practicing yoga, meditation, and Reiki. In my free time, I love spending time with my children, and we often travel together as a family. While I have traveled extensively in the past as a model, I prefer revisiting the countries I have already been to and presenting them to my family. Additionally, we enjoy doing social work, such as donating food, toys, hygiene products, and other items. This is definitely my favorite hobby, and I take pleasure in teaching my children to help those in need. We are fortunate to live well, and it's important to remember that not everyone has the same blessings. Therefore, we feel it's essential to extend a helping hand to those who require it.
