Gorgeous and Glorious: Galilea Montijo

Can you tell us about your early childhood and the defining moments that made you choose a career in entertainment?

My childhood was very nice even though we didn't have much and my mother worked all day. I was a child who had fun with what I had and with my grandparents, imagine that.

What have been the best and worst moments of your career and why?

My best moment without a doubt was when I became Mateo's mom.

Who have been the most influential people in your life and in your career?

Without a doubt Veronica Castro has been my biggest influence in many aspects. Learning from the best, well I feel very honored by her advice and talks.

What would you tell your younger self if you could go back and give yourself a piece of advice?

Thank you for giving me so much strength to achieve all the dreams we had since we were young.

As someone who is always in front of the camera, what do you do in your spare time when you’re not working?

I enjoy my family, I watch series and movies with my Mateo, I go to the beach, and I do mommy things.

What would you say are the greatest struggles faced by entertainers today?

Undoubtedly, social media and technology which are changing day by day.

What’s the secret to staying relevant in a fast-paced culture with constantly changing trends?

Honesty and always speaking the truth, which is what the public always wants.

Are there any upcoming events or projects that you’re excited about in 2023?

I am excited to think that it will be a great year full of many blessings, and I am sure that God has many surprises for me.
