Breast cancer remains the most common cancer in women. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. The diagnosis can affect any woman, at any age. International Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October brings the disease back into focus every year to raise awareness. This year, HANRO is once again committed to the fight against breast cancer and supports the Pink Ribbon organizations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, France, Italy and Dubai as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In the UAE, HANRO will be collaborating with Al Jalila Foundation during the month of October to support Breast Cancer Awareness - donating 15% of all bra sales to the foundation.

"For us, the well-being of all women is paramount. It is therefore a matter of great concern to us to get involved in campaigns that contribute to sustainable awareness-raising in society and bring such a communication-needy topic as breast cancer into the public eye. We are therefore pleased to support the Pink Ribbon movement again this year.", says Stephan Hohmann, HANRO Managing Director.

For every bra sold in October, HANRO will donate 15% to the Pink Ribbon campaign.*
