La Belle: Farhana Bodi

L’Officiel Arabia: Tell us about your Netflix series Dubai Bling. How did that happen?

Farhana Bodi: Dubai Bling is a reality docu-series featuring 10 personalities living in Dubai. It’s a very entertaining show full of drama, fashion, inspiring stories and lots of bling.

I was approached by the producers of the show and had to do casting for it where they interviewed me a few times and after the interview, they loved my story about a single mom who is a jet setter and living the life and yet hustling and working hard to provide a good life for her son.

L’O A: How was your experience working on the Netflix Series

FB: It was a fun experience filming Dubai Bling; I was super excited to be part of this project. I always loved the idea of sharing inspiring content, and through my participation in Dubai Bling, I want to influence women, especially single moms, to never give up and to pursue their dreams.

L’O A: Tell us more about this digital cover shoot you did for L'Officiel Arabia in Paris?

FB: The cover shoot was shot in Paris during Christmas season and it was super cold yet fun. I have recently joined a talent management called V management.

V Management is a talent management and production agency providing its clients with 360° digital support.

V Management talents have a differential value, a luxury image that makes them icons/superstars beyond being content creators, models or singers, etc.

Being part of V Management is associated with high status. And I am very happy to be represented by them and I will be traveling a lot between Paris, Milan and London moving forward and working more globally.

The shoot was inspired by Emily In Paris as I love her style and her vibe on the show I can relate and I wanted my shoot to have some fun fashion inspo, especially prints and colours. My team organized the full shoot in Paris and I was lucky to have professional team support.

L’O A: Which new projects are you currently working on?

FB: I am currently working on goldpesa which is a crypto project and I have a few products I am launching soon which is in the pipeline one of them being something I always wanted to do for a long time but you have to wait to find out. 

L’O A: What's next for Farhana?

FB: I am looking more at global projects and television and movies are something I am welcoming into my career and hoping to be more on the big screen. I have also launched my Bodi Academy where I will be giving courses online on how to grow on social media. I will be surprising you all with something major soon.
