In The Limelight: Lucien Leon Laviscount

Introducing Lucien Laviscount: An icon in both the realm of acting and fashion. Embracing high-end designs from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, he's not just an actor but a trendsetter, elevating every red carpet appearance to a runway showcase. Starting his journey in the world of entertainment at a young age, Lucien has grown into a charismatic figure who brings a unique blend of talent and fashion-forward sensibility. As one of the leading men behind the beloved character Alfie in Netflix's "Emily in Paris," he captures hearts both on and off-screen. Lucien doesn't just act; he curates an experience where every outfit tells a story and every role is a chance to showcase his multifaceted talent. Life for him is a runway, and he makes looking good seem like a walk in the park.

Lucien Laviscount: You've come a long way from your early days in the industry. Can you describe how your personal style has evolved over the years, from when you first started your career modeling for David Beckham kid’s clothing line to now representing a high-end fashion brand like Dolce & Gabbana?

LL: I think my view of fashion has definitely evolved over the years. Having been fortunate enough to travel to some incredible places around the world and meeting the people I’ve met along the way it’s given me a different perspective on life. I guess that sense of exploration comes out in my fashion choices!

L'O A: In the world of fashion, trends come and go. What are your go-to fashion pieces or style essentials that you think will always be in style, no matter the season or year?

LL: I think a high-waisted trouser is something that lives in my suitcase rent-free. For me they are a timeless classic. Styled with anything, from a hoodie to a tank. I think a good pair can elevate any look for any situation.

L'O A: Can you share your most memorable red carpet or high-end event experience, and what made it special in terms of the fashion choices you made or the overall atmosphere of the event?

LL: The event that stands out right now has to be the Vanity Fair Oscar party. The outfit I wore to this event was incredible. We chose to wear this Dolce look, loosely based on Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s with a little Black Panther twist to it. It was a lot of fun and the evening itself was great. To be in a room with so many industry heavyweights that I’ve admired for so many years, was a dream come true! A night to remember for sure.

L'O A: In the age of social media and instant sharing, how do you see technology and digital platforms influencing the fashion industry, and how do you navigate this new landscape?

LL: Social media is transforming at a rate I can’t keep up with, that's for sure! But for me, it’s about not taking it too seriously. Everyone will have something to say, good or bad, take it with a pinch of salt. I just have fun with it. As for the fashion industry, social media is a great tool! I think it’s a wonderful time for new designers to tell their stories to the world.

L'O A: Fashion often intersects with art, music, and culture. Are there any artists or musicians whose work inspires your sense of style or whom you would love to collaborate with in the future?

LL: It’s so interesting you mention this as there has been a few conversations recently with a couple of artists about collaborating. It’s something I love to see and do! To capture and create a moment in time where two different worlds are colliding. I find the collaborations that seem so far apart from one another can really paint something unique, so for whoever is reading this, I’m definitely down to have them conversations!
