MOYNAT: THE FLORI TEDDY

Moynat has always been widely recognized for its unexpected and creative innovations: we are proud to carry on this tradition by introducing the Flori Teddy. The Flori is the debut bag by Creative Director Nicholas Knightly and has quickly become an iconic bag of the House. Its equestrian inspiration is being challenged by the use of a new material, an unexpected Sheepskin. This exceptional sheepskin comes from the Merinos race, very renowned for its curly and soft wool. A single skin can make only a bag, which explains its scarcity. The maximum length of the wool thread is 16mm, as it is perfect to allow an exceptional soft touch. For this rare skin, tanning operation has to be very cautious to keep the softness of the wool.

Exquisitely crafted inside and out, Moynat’s artisanal expertise is exemplified through the Perla Calfskin lining inside the bag. The soft-hand touch and sensual feel of the Sheepskin ensures a luxuriously tactile experience each time the bag is opened. This ultra-feminine and funny version will add a touch of amusement into the always-growing Flori collection.
