Presented through a series of portraits and a video by Max Siedentopf, the new Gucci Palette Beauté Des Yeux Gorgeous Flora and Gucci Rouge De Beauté Brillant Flora will allow you to create a #FloraFantasy of your own making.
Application Tips
Here are three possible styles to try, created by Gucci Global Makeup Consultant Thomas de Kluyver:
- FLORA VIOLET LOOK
1 Sweep 07 ‘Mauve Jasmine’ from Palette Beauté Des Yeux Gorgeous Flora all over the eyelids using a medium fluffy brush, blend up to the brow bone using a windscreen wiper motion to create a seamless finish.
2 Smudge 07 ‘Mauve Jasmine’ underneath the eye with a smudge brush, keeping the color soft, diffused and focused on the lower lashline. Soften edges where needed.
3 Apply 05 ‘Fantastic Violet’ to the outer corner of the eye and blend it inwards with a medium fluffy brush in order to add definition.
4 Sweep 05 ‘Fantastic Violet’ along the inner and outer parts of the lid and blend out to create a seamless transition. Continue along the lower lashline, connecting both the upper and lower eye. Diffuse colour with a clean fluffy brush to create a halo effect.
5 Tap 12 ‘Delicate Blush’ on the centre of the upper lid and inner corners using a medium flat brush to create a soft highlighted effect.
- FLORA SKY BLUE LOOK
EYES:
1 Sweep 09 ‘Sand Shell’ from Palette Beauté Des Yeux Gorgeous Flora across the inner part of the upper eye. Blend the color out up into the brow using a medium fluffy brush.
2 Apply 06 ‘Solar Fire’ to the outer part of the eye, blending up into the brow bone with soft sweeping motions.
3 Smudge 11 ‘Sweet Hazel’ to the outer part of the eye with a smudge brush, making sure to stay close to the lashline to help lashes appear fuller and more defined.
4 Brush 02 ‘Bright Coral’ along the lower lashline and blend outward to create a soft warmth to the under-eye.
5 Swipe 03 ‘Silver Sky’ along the inner corner of the eye using a medium flat brush. Blend out the color towards the centre of the lid using a clean medium fluffy brush to create a seamless transition into ‘Solar Fire’.
LIPS:
6 Glide on Rouge De Beauté Brillant Flora straight from the bullet or using a lip brush.
- FLORA TURQUOISE LOOK
EYES:
1 Sweep 10 ‘Gorgeous Turquoise’ from Palette Beauté Des Yeux Gorgeous Flora all over the eyelids using a flat brush. Blend the shadow up with a medium fluffy brush, using a windscreen wiper motion to diffuse the color.
2 Smudge 10 ‘Gorgeous Turquoise’ along upper and lower eye, circling the inner corner and working it downwards to connect the color.
3 Layer 05 ‘Fantastic Violet’ with a medium fluffy brush, being sure to soften the edges up towards the brow bone.
4 Dust 01 ‘Fiery Orange’ on the brow bone using a small fluffy brush to softly highlight.
LIPS:
5 Glide on Rouge De Beauté Brillant Flora straight from the bullet or using a lip brush.
