Each Flori Leather Marquetry bag is an exquisite work of art and the finest savoir-faire expression of the Maison emblematic craft technique requires great skill, patience and precision from the artisans. Individual leather pieces are intricately inlaid to form a seamless motif, creating the illusion of simplicity for an incredibly complex technique. Every jigsaw piece is a sustainable way for Moynat to reuse the high-quality surplus of materials from previous collections.

Flori Leather Marquetry Art Deco comes in a rich palette of seven shades including Peacock, Tonka and Regiment. Each bag is crafted from Carat Calfskin, an emblematic Moynat leather that is grainy, durable and scratch-resistant. The collection features three spirited patterns inspired by Art Deco, a period of flourishing creativity for Moynat. An elegant cluster of arches and geometric shapes adornes the Flori compose of 17 to 30 pieces of leather. The geometric precision of each pattern juxtaposed with the curvaceous silhouette of the Flori results in three visually arresting styles.

To further commemorate this historical partnership, the Maison also created unique, iconic exotic-skin handbags and “trunks to go” hard-sided bags.
