Olivia von Halle: The Didi Jumper and Shorts Set and the Della Tracksuit Autumn/Winter 2022

This season, Olivia von Halle continued its quest to craft the most elegant off-duty garments by way of two brand-new silk-cashmere silhouettes. Landed in stores and online on 26 August, the Della tracksuit and the Didi jumper-andshorts-set join our A-list-adored Missy, Gia and Carmel in the OvH oeuvre.

Having garnered a following for her signature silk pyjamas and robes, Olivia von Halle first waded into the world of cashmere in October 2016. With an eye to elevating in-flight dressing, she dreamt up the Missy, a refined riff on the tracksuit that’s spun from a blend of cashmere and silk and features a contrast lurex stripe. The Gia, a pared-back hooded tracksuit, followed in November 2019, while our ultra-minimal Carmel arrived in September 2021. Since their debuts, all three silhouettes have emerged as off-duty staples among A-list celebrities, spotted on the likes of Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna.

Now, in 2022, Olivia von Halle has presented its first silk-cashmere jumper-and-shorts set: the athletic-yet-elegant Didi (£1095). Channelling a 1990s sports-luxe aesthetic, the Didi comprises an oversized crew-neck jumper and a slim-fit cycling short with elasticated waistband. “At OvH, we wanted to create a beautiful silk-cashmere set that could bridge the gap between seasons,” says Founder and CEO Olivia von Halle. “The Didi silhouette is both timeless and modern, and we love how a traditionally relaxed style immediately feels elevated when crafted from such a luxe fabric.” As befits the OvH custom to name our silk-cashmere colourways after glamorous locales around the globe, the Didi arrives in our brand-new sandstone-beige Kasbah as well as our existing mint-blue Deia and classic ivory Alaska.

The Della (£1395), meanwhile, is sure to win over devotees of Olivia von Halle’s Gia. Cast in the same luxurious blend of best-in-class cashmere and silk, it features our first zip-up hoodie plus matching sweatpants and comes in our Kasbah shade and well as an opulent Klein-blue Tulum. This August also sees our super-sleek Carmel tracksuit (£1295) updated in Tulum, joining our London, Shanghai, Paris and Alaska hues.
