Tanja Beljanski: Please tell us about yourself and what you do for a living.

Oksana Mykhailiuk: My life is a complete complex of pleasure. I am engaged in those things that bring only positive things. My main profession is dentistry. Someone will say that it is a purely medical topic, and I will say that it is also creative. After all, finding an approach to everyone and creating Hollywood rushes is another matter. I also blog on Instagram. In almost three years, I have received considerable support from the audience, almost a million subscribers. I appreciate anyone I can benefit from sharing my life and current information.

TB: Which sphere of activity in life is in priority for you?

OM: Dentistry is a matter of life, something in which interest does not disappear. Of course, I try to develop comprehensively, because time flies by without effect, and being in motion is just that for me. I am open to absolutely everything. But dentistry comes first. Next are my favorite, family and close followers on Instagram. These are my people who push me to move forward.

TB: Tell us more about your career path in dentistry.

OM: It all started with the fact that my father became a dental technician (that’s the long story), after which my brother wanted to continue his business, and I already involuntarily fell in love with it. For me, this profession is, first of all, a matter of life. Although my mother was not connected with dentistry, I still decided to continue my father’s business. When I see the enthusiasm with which he works, my motivation increases several times. Also, my brother is the support that gave me a strong push in this matter. We move side by side, and that’s the main thing. We have built excellent relations, family, friendship and work.

TB: What inspires you to blog for so many years and what is it about?

OM: I am a happy woman, mother, doctor, blogger. That says it all. I find inspiration in everything. I am glad that I am surrounded by people who are ready to lend a shoulder and give advice. My blog is my life. The audience does not like fakes, everyone absolutely feels sincerity. This is my trick, to be myself! Many people try to create artificial illusions, such profiles are quickly hyped, and then, as a rule, subside. I am used to giving my time, sharing both joy and sorrow.

TB: Could you tell us about your son and husband, and what excites you most about being a mother?

OM: I have a strong family and that is what I value the most. I am most concerned about the education of my son, and for this, my husband, and I try to do our best. When he was born, it is impossible to describe in words. It is love from the first breath, second and moment. I am glad that I met my husband and he gives me that when we can, even just understand each other without words. Being in harmony is our key to a happy marriage. My husband is my support.

TB: Can you tell us about your work on the information level and how it can help for the victory of Ukraine?

OM: Another equally important mission of mine as a blogger is to convey true information to everyone who is ready to hear it. And there are many such people. Over the years of work, we have built a family business that is known to almost every country in the world. When the war started in Ukraine, from the first days I actively began to share all relevant information, my blog has many followers from abroad. Knowing English perfectly, my brother and I talked about it wherever possible. The mission of every Ukrainian is to bring victory closer, which is what I continue to do on my front. With all our strength, at our training courses and congresses, we try to convey information to colleagues from different countries of the world, as well as allocate funds from our fee and also collect donations to support our army.

TB: How does war affect you mentally?

OM: War greatly affects the emotional state. As a result, work, family and mood in general. But good news makes us even more happy. In more than six months, everyone’s values have changed, as have their priorities. However, when everything is over, I know for sure that everything will not be the same as before. The main thing is that everyone is healthy and happy. I know that when the war ends we will be different, we have already become different, we have grown mentally.

TB: How do you combine several things at the same time? What is your formula for a happy life?

OM: The secret is as simple and banal as possible. We notice very little of the details and what surrounds us. We turn small problems into big ones, ourselves. You should just look around, gather yourself and do everything with one rule. The rule of love for anything. What your hand touches must be desired and willing. That is why I am a mother, a doctor and a blogger. When you love, you have the motivation and desire for it; even any unclimbable mountain can move. Love yourself, your work and hobbies, and you will definitely live in a new way! Peace to all of us, may your business be as easy and profitable as possible.

TB: Your family is famous all over the world. Brother Nazariy is a famous lecturer in the field of dentistry. Tell us a few words about him and how you chose the medical path - it’s a family matter.

OM: My brother is my mentor. I want to take an example from him. I am inspired by him, he is the person who motivates me to develop, learn, and become a better version of myself. I will say that there is rarely such a synergy between a brother and a sister. He is first and foremost my best friend. Our parents taught us to value each other and to be worthy people. I always rejoice at my brother’s victories and try to support him in all his endeavors. And just the best brother ever!
