In 2020 the Maison Calamain launched its first pret-a-porter line employing over 20 artisans who expertly preserve, in their creations, all the richness of the Moroccan heritage.
La Maison “Le monde de Nun”, is a Moorish-inspired fashion house born from the creative mind of the talented designer Nadia Ksiyer, and from a skilful mix of Moroccan and Andalusian culture. Through her collection, consisting of dresses, lond skirt and kaftans, the designer has decided to bring to the catwalk a collection that reflect the authenticity and simplicity of the Tangier textile work “I wish to pay homage to a perfectly imperfect ancestral know-how and to the artisan who work with passion and traditions”
The Nun (private label) brand was first presented to the general public at the Maroc Fashion Week in Marrakech in June 2022, encouraged by the great success, Nadia Ksiyer decided presents her creations for the first time in Italy.
The “Silk Road and Al Andalus” association, founded by Hind Joudar in 2004 has been organizing the Oriental Fashion Show for 18 years, the first fashion event dedicated to oriental artistic creations.
The vocation of OFS has a double abjective: to make know, beyond its borders, designers of oriental inspirations and highlight the richness and uniqueness of clothing and cultural heritage of the East.
Through these parades, the East crosses the borders of the Arab world and crosses continents, from Asia to North Africa, echoing the Silk Road.
