The New Natural: Loujain Adada
L’Officiel Arabia: When and how did you decide to be a Social Media Influencer?
Loujain Adada: I never decided, it just happened that my audience liked my content and waited for me to share more details about my lifestyle etc. At the beginning of social media, I was very private on my account, and I literally just had my account just for fun and posting pictures since I love photography and taking pictures. When I made it public, I started gaining more followers and my page started engaging with my audiences. If it were not for my audience, I wouldn’t consider myself a social media influencer.
L’O A: Tell us more about your Netflix series – Dubai Bling?
LA: Dubai Bling show was a very small fraction of my daily reality and story that I didn’t share before. Especially the story with my mother. I always found it extremely difficult to talk about it openly and then I suddenly did it on the show. The show was a new experience for me, something different and new that I enjoyed being a part of. Dubai Bling is a storytelling for each one of the casts how they live in Dubai and what are some of the problems, challenges, dreams, and achievements they are all experiencing.
L’O A: How did you become part of the Series Dubai Bling?
LA: It just happened that I was approached and then it took me some time to let the whole idea sink in as it was a concept I never had a plan of doing before, but after some thought I said to myself why not? It’s something new and I always love to challenge myself by trying new things and ideas.
L’O A: What other projects are you currently working on?
LA: Currently the project I’m working on has to do with Fashion. There is still not much to reveal but hopefully soon there will be and it will be something I’m passionate about which is not only fashion.
L’O A: Who has inspired you the most in your Life?
LA: Lady Diana is my icon, and she has inspired me a lot. She left a legacy behind her as she was known to be one of the most humanitarian and authentic powerful ladies. I am inspired by women who are independent and have much more to offer other than their looks. Women who struggled a lot in their lives but made it and became successful.
L’O A: What is next for LJ?
LA: Next is hard to say, I live each day by day, and I always try to make the best out of what is already present while I make future plans.
