L’Officiel Arabia: When and how did you decide to be a Model?
Sara Arfaoui: In the begining I was not interested in modeling but it happened by accident and I am very grateful for that because as a model I travelled a lot and had the chance to meet different people and discover new culture and countries.
LOA: How did you get into Television?
SA: They called me one day and I had no expectations of getting this offer. But once this happened, I was so happy because it was Rai TV the national TV brodcaster and it was a begining of a new adventure. It was so exciting and scary at same time. I love television, I grew up watching TV with my family. I watched a lot of Arab television during Ramadan with family and friends and television helped me to learn Arab culture and discover my origins.
LOA: Who has been your inspiration in your life?
SA: My inspiration are my parents. Parents are the one's that fight to give a better life for their kids because when I think about what my parents went through living in their country and family, I can’t imagine how hard it mist have been. I am proud of them and everything they did to teach me to be a strong and honest woman.
LOA: Have you been to the UAE? How was your experience?
SA: I was in UAE many times for holiday. This country and the energy, I love the fact that it is an International country and so many people decide to live in UAE permanentaly fascinates me. I understand it because is safe place. Full of opportunity and always open to technology. To be honest there was a time when I decided to relocate to the UAE but for the moment it is a dream.
LOA: What next for Sara?
SA: I am presently working on different project and I am studying a lot. I am always taking some Arab lessons because I would love to work in Arab world.
LOA: How is your relation with social media?
SA: I have Instagram like everyone now but I try to always stop and don’t get influenced by a perfect world and this utopia. Life is not perfect and we need sometimes to stop looking at other people’s life and focus in our life, family, friends and things that are real. I love Instagram for the social connection and the opportunity to discover new places and art but nothing more.
