This year, the fusion of nature's splendour and the newest fashion trends is the perfect inspiration to elevate the spiritual journey of women and celebrate with sophistication.
With that in mind, Waed Asmar, a prestigious fashion label in Dubai known as the epitome of luxury modest fashion, has unveiled its latest Ramadan and Eid collection in time for the season. This exclusive collection, a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary design, is designed for both mothers and daughters, symbolising and paying tribute to the nurturing essence of Mother Nature.
This captivating collection boasts threads with intricate details that evoke a sense of regality and poise. Feathery floral capes with artful cutouts, sheer organza petals, and 3D flower-shaped appliques crafted using the traditional Zardozi Pittan technique, adorn each garment. The evening dresses, in jewel tones, feature side panels and bell-bishops-stole sleeves that seamlessly cascade into regal trains, offering a fresh and flowy aesthetic.
The dresses' silhouettes and floral embellishments draw inspiration from a variety of flowers - from the creamy whites of gardenias to the vibrant oranges of poppies, and the brilliant blues and greens of orchids and hydrangeas. The collection's colour palette, a homage to spring florals, ranges from pale yellows to rich, earthy tones, reflecting the breathtaking desert landscapes.
Waed Asmar's Ramadan and Eid collection is not just a fashion statement but a canvas showcasing the rich tapestry of Arabian culture and craftsmanship. The prints and jalabiyas in the collection are inspired by the vast desert sky and terrains, interwoven with traditional patterns, creating a perfect amalgamation of heritage and modernity. Each piece, from the meticulously crafted Abayas and Kaftans to the dresses, venerates femininity while incorporating cultural values, staying true to the brand's ethos of redefining modest fashion.
Reflecting on the collection, Waed Asmar, the creative force behind the brand, shares her insights: "This collection is not merely a set of outfits; it represents a narrative of legacy, affection, and the unwavering connection between a mother and her daughter. Much like the desert rose blossoming in parched environments, our collection honours the strength and beauty of women who flourish against all odds."
Waed Asmar, a Palestinian fashion designer with roots in Dubai, transitioned from studying graphic design at ASU Jordan to pursuing her true passion in fashion.
